I took this sweet little guy for his one year check up today! He is doing wonderfully! He weighed in at a whopping 23 pounds 11 ounces(clothed), which puts him mid 50%. He was 31.5 inches long, and that tops the charts in the 90% range!!The Doctor(yes a different one again, and I liked her) said he looks like he's doing wonderfully! We talked about him walking, and talking, what he is/isn't eating, and his sleep. Overall, he is hitting all his milestones just like he should and she wasn't worried about a thing! The only sad moment was when he had to get his shots. I am used to two nurses poking him, so it's done quickly, however today it was only one, and she had to do three seperate shots. :( Made me sad to have to have him go throught that, and see those big tears. I immediately scooped him up off the table and snuggled him tight.
We will go back around 15 months for another well-child checkup!! :)
