Blog Slacker...

Sorry to all of you who follow my blog...I have been a total slacker lately.

We have been so busy with finishing our new media/theatre room that we've been painting, staining, and sanding in all of our free time! On top of that K has been a little stuff/sickly lately, so I've been spending time tending to her...she was doing a lot better today so we cleaned the house quite a bit and organized some stuff! Also, Nick and I have been searching for a tropical destination to visit in March!

I promise to get back on the blog train soon for FULL updates!

Snuggles for Cason!

Yesterday afternoon, Kastyn and I ran next-door and stole Cason for a couple hours and brought him home with us! We needed our snuggle time! He was such a sweet little guy the whole time he was here. Kastyn loved holding him!! She was very worried about me changing his diaper though. She chased me all around the house with his diaper asking when I was going to change him. I tried to explain to her that I would change his diaper when he wasn't sleeping! Once he did wake up, Kastyn also got to watch me feed him...and finally...change his diaper!

I definately think we are going to have to go steal him more often! I think it was great for all involved! We loved our snuggle time, and I'm sure Alison loved doing whatever she wanted for a few hours!!! Call me Allie!!! :)

Saturday night we were looking for something to do...so we decided to take Kastyn skating. I looked thru my handy dandy Entertainment Book(thanks Anne!) to see where we could skate for cheap, and found a buy one get one for the Ice Rink downtown, so that's where we headed! We got there early enough to watch the guys clean the ice in the big Zamboni, and she thought that was pretty neat!

Even though once on the ice she was pretty cautious, she still had a great time and keeps asking when we get to go back! So I think it was a hit!

How to Entertain a 3 year old...

When it's a nice January day, let them go outside and look in!

Kastyn had a BLAST running from window to window in the living room from the outside looking in! She was laughing and screaming and having a great time! It was hilarious!!!

As many kiddos...Kastyn is a climber! She thinks she is such a big girl and can get what she wants when she wants! This is what she does when she wants a snackie...she helps herself!

New Year's Eve Celebrations!

This year for New Year's Eve we were invited to 'party' with a lot of different people! Sorry to those who we didn't make it to! Until about 1pm on NYE we didn't even know if we'd have a sitter to watch Kastyn so we could go celebrate....only to find out later, we really didn't need one...since kids were allowed! Oh well, she's more fun when she gets her sleep, plus she had been sick earlier in the week!

We started our evening off across the street at Kuhn's house playing some Wii! My new most favorite thing in the world...I WILL have one...hopefully sooner than later!

Of course we can't forget that our KU boys were playing in the InSight Bowl in Arizona...and got a HUGE win under their belts! Here are the game fans! Eric, Belinda, Nick


Later in the evening we had a few kiddos crash out...even with all the excitement that was in the air! Baby Jake and Izzy decided it was time to sleep!




While the guys chatted the girls played some board games...




And when the clock struck 12...we celebrated with a toast and some noise!!
