Mini Mavs!

Last Friday evening, Kastyn took part in the Mini Mavs 1st Annual Dance Clinic at the new MSHS. The Saturday before she went to the school and learned the dance that they did during the half-time of the varsity boys basketball game! Each girl got a tshirt and a set of poms, and during the clinic on Saturday they made a cute hair scrunchie to wear for the game that matched their T-Shirts!

Kastyn danced with the Pre-K group, to the song...All the Single Ladies(Chipmunk Style)! It was hilarious! She boogied down and did a great job! I was a little worried, since it had been an entire week since she learned the dance, and hadn't practiced either...she kept saying she didn't know what to do! We got to the game a little early on Friday so she had time to practice with the girls before her big half-time dance!

I was so proud of her, and couldn't stop smiling...and laughing...just a little! :)

2 Weeks....to go!!

Two weeks from today(if not sooner)...we will meet our little guy! Yay! I think this house is completely ready for the new addition!!

Kastyn asks or tells us daily, I am so ready for my brother to be here, when is he going to get out of your belly?

I think...we are almost completely settled on a name...hopefully within the next 14 days we can get ONE!!!

I'm huge, and uncomfortable! The swelling has set in, and over the weekend I was hit with a cold...which luckily is almost gone now...lets just hope nobody else in the house gets it! :)

I go Thursday for my next dr's appt, and then THIS Saturday is my FINAL day of work until after baby!! Yay!

Next week is for me!! I have appointments made to get my nails done and some pampering! I can't wait! Hopefully this little guy can wait, so I can get everything taken care of!!

Saturday I had a wonderful friend(Valerie) throw me a fantastic baby shower for this little boy! She did a great job, and I am so greatful for all she did! I had a great group of family and friends here to help me prepare for the arrival of this little guy! Everyone showered us with wonderful items to help me finish getting ready for baby boy!!

We played a couple fun games, had some yummy yummy food, great cake, and a fun time watching Kastyn open all the gifts her her new brother!! She was such a great helper!! Ever since the shower all she's wanted to do is put things away in his room, and put together all the new stuff we received!! She's so funny!!

He is still....

A BOY! We went today for a sonogram, just for measurements to see how big this guy is and stuff. The FIRST question out of Nick's mouth was....Now are we SURE it's still a boy? And he is...all boy! And big at that. He is measuring right around 5 pounds 8 ounces, and I still have a month to bake him! Kastyn was 6 pounds 8 ounces when she was born....so it looks like already this little guy is gonna be bigger!!

I go tomorrow for my actual OB appointment, so today was just fun to get to see him! It was hard to get good pictures since he's so much bigger and everything is squished together...but she WAS able to tell me where everything is....so when I get poked and jabbed here and there, I know what it is!! He is head wayyy down, and then curved around from my right to my left. So his bum is right up under the left-side of my ribcage, and for the most part his feet are under the right-side of my ribs!!

I am so ready to meet this little guy!! :)
