For Dabbers and Gamma...

This Blog is special. It is just for Dabber and Gamma. I know they check the blog daily, and I have seriously been slacking over the past couple weeks. You'd think that now since summer is here...Id' be able to slow down a little...not so much.

Over the past two weeks...we have been SO busy! Two weeks ago on a Monday evening around 9pm, I got a phone call that we were accepted into swimming lessons...we had missed the first day, but could start the following day! That started the busy busy time! Our schedule looked something like this:

Tues: 8:30-11:30 School; 12:45-1:30 Swimming Lessons
Wed: 9:45-10:45 Mommy Gymnastics; 10:45-11:30 Kastyn Gymnastics; 12:45-1:30 Gymnastics...then drop K off at the sitters so I could make it to work by 3.
Thurs: similar to Tuesday...however, we threw in a field trip at school, and I had to be at work by 3.
Friday: Errands, Errands, Errands, Nick Softball at 7:30 and 9:30p
Sat: I worked most of the day and when I got home Nick went fishing with the boys, so K and I had a "date night"
Sun: I had an appt...plus it was father's day so we were busy out and about as well as around the house...
Mon: Swimming again...
Tues: school, swimming, dentist, errands, neighbor's bday so we had ice cream
Wed: gymnastics, gymnastics, swimming, mommy work
Thurs: School, last day of swimming lessons
Friday: Kastyn was supposed to go on a field trip with HoneyTree...but since she was beyond exhaused from the previous two weeks...she slept in...and I let her. Once she woke up...we went to the mall...to do some Bday shopping for two parties over the weekend..however we only made it to one..due to scheduling conflicts!

So in a nutshell...this is why I have neglected the blog...and don't think for a moment it has slowed down...cuz it hasn't!

Tinkle...

Is the newest word in Kastyn vocabulary these days!

Last week she spent the afternoon with Gamma and B while Mommy was at work, and Daddy played golf with Michelle. She had a fantastic time, and is still talking about it. She is also saying Tinkle...a lot.

Today after she went potty...she told me..."we don't say pee pee, we say tinkle". "Gamma doesn't like to say pee...she likes to say tinkle, so do Shell and B!" It was SO cute. From now on...I guess I will tinkle...instead of pee...however, I typically say...potty. Who knows how long the tinkle stage will last...but for now it's cute!

Chad and Allison had a plans for last night so they had asked us to keep Cason for them. He was a perfect little angel, and Kastyn did most the work. She played with him while I was fixing dinner, and she even offered to feed him his bottle too! They both fell asleep around 7:45/8...so I guess K thought C would still be here this morning, so when she got up, she went looking for him...only to be disappointed that he wasn't here. I'm sure we'll see him again soon!
